Samsung Biologics holds family day event at Songdo headquarters
Samsung Biologics invited families of employees to its headquarters in Songdo this past weekend. Around 3,200 family members visited the site during the two-day event, getting a glimpse of where their loved ones work.
Families were given an overview of Samsung Biologics’ mission and commitment to help save lives through the delivery of high-quality biomedicines, as well as a tour of the company. Various games and activities were also held throughout the day to give visitors a better understanding of the biopharmaceutical business. Photo booths were installed across the company so that families could leave a snapshot of the quality time they spent together during the visit.
The event was organized to thank families that are supporting Samsung Biologics’ employees, and to ensure a happy and inclusive workplace culture. The company will be holding an additional session later this month.
“We will continue to foster a positive work environment where employees can grow personally and professionally while enjoying themselves,” said John Rim, CEO and President of Samsung Biologics. “I hope our employees feel a greater sense of pride in the work they’re doing as part of our broader mission to create a healthier tomorrow.”
