Samsung Biologics to cultivate future leaders in the life sciences

 

Samsung Biologics and Samsung Bioepis announced they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sungkyunkwan University and Korea University to cultivate talent in the life sciences R&D sector.

 

By establishing a training track for life sciences professionals, the companies plan to proactively nurture future leaders and strengthen the industry foundation. Samsung Biologics and Samsung Bioepis will select outstanding master’s scholarship students from fourth-year undergraduates at each university. Scholarship students will be given full-semester tuition and subsidies, as well as the opportunity to join either company upon graduation.

 

Kyuho Lee, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Samsung Biologics, said: “The record-setting achievement and steady growth of Samsung Biologics have been driven by the efforts and innovation of talented people.” He added, “In cooperation with Sungkyunkwan University and Korea University, we will actively foster talent for the development of the life sciences R&D industry.”
